Tomaszewski Andrzej was billeted at Oosterhout, the Netherlands. 
He got permission to visit relatives in France and there he was 
shot dead by American Military Police in a railwaystation in the 
neighbourhood of St. Martin (Paris). 
The reason why is unknown. 
But the people he had been billeted on, told later that he might 
have fled when the Americans ordered him to stop. He was a married 
man and lived in, France.
