Por. Sawiak B. J. carried out with Spitfire VB, nr. BL 959, 
code, PK-T, together with British pilots, an interception 
of a German Ju 88. 
He was gravely wounded by Ju88's gunner, forcelanded 
near Dublin and died later on in a hospital.

Pilot wounded  and later died. Forcelanded near  Dublin. A/c SOC.

[His name is mentioned on the Polish Air Force memorial at Northolt, U.K.]
