IGNASZAK Antoni por. obs. - P/O P 0071 24.2.1913 Böming, Dortmund, Germany R.A.F. Polish 12 OTU 26.11.1940 Benson, St. Helen Churchyard, U.K. War Graves Plot, Row E, Grave 9 Fairey Battle I, nr. L5071, flown by an inexperienced crew, took off on 19.30 hours from the airport Mount Farm (satellite base of Benson). The aircraft plunged a few minutes after take-off flight suddenly into a dive and crashed and burnt out about 1,5 km. North West of the airport.
