SOLDIER'S FAMILY COLLECT MEDALS
Relatives of a Second World War soldier who died and was buried in Cannock before
he could be demobilised are picking up his medals.
Polish Staff Sergeant Marian Stanislaw Wiktorowski fought for Britain but suffered a
fatal heart attack in 1948.
Mr Wiktorowski's sons were traced after Dr Graham White, Honoray Consul of the
Republic of Poland, spotted the grave.
