On page 209 of the Regimental History "24 PUŁK UŁANÓW ZARYS HISTORI 1920-1947"
there is translated mentioned:

"In connection with continual explosions of mines, which had been thrown against the rock 
on the coast, the alarm went off permanently.

By such an exploding mine corporal LIS, from the heavy machinegun-squadron, was killed.

His funeral took place on the churchyard of Arbroath on the 1st of February."
