Crashed on 11.2.1945 with Spitfire MH 451 on return of his 
second combat flight that day. 
Undershot runway due to bad weather and possibly over-fatigue. 
He was seriously wounded and died 17-2-1945 at No. 8 RAF 
General Hospital at Brussels. 
Plut.pil. Breyner Stanisław completed 160 combat flights, 
awarded Krzyż Walecznych (Polish Bravery Medal) and bearer 
of the Polową Odznaką Pilota (Polish Pilot Wing).
